Text highlight bug?

Hey there, i have a weird issue when inputting text. If I were to double click on a text to highlight it and type something to change it, the last letter from the highlighted text would appear first when I type something next. This issue doesn't happen if I manually delete the text and retype it. It only happens when I first highlight text then type something. It has the same behavior regardless of whether I do it directly in the text box or in the sidebar ui...
