Phone notification not working

When I add the 'on_message' event, I don't receive Discord notifications on my phone when I'm pinged. I'm not sure if there's anything I can do about this. (I have Discord on my computer and on my phone, and I have a selfbot enabled. I can't receive notifications on my phone, probably because Discord.py listens for messages. Is there a way to resolve this issue?)
