Consider

using LinearAlgebra: axpy!, :⋅
mydot(x, y) = x ⋅ y

When running JuliaFormatter on this snippet, the result is

using LinearAlgebra: axpy!, : ⋅ mydot(x, y) = x ⋅ y

The main issue is that the formatter puts a space between : and ⋅ and then gets confused about the next line.
