Hi. I have been following your work. However, I think you can truly give a doom experience by making a very powerful emacs-hook-like configuration functions that will allow users to hook lua functions to Events.

Secondly, vim's Event-based keybinding in lua in neovim is not present. That makes it really inconvenient given how autocmd has no lua api yet.

I have created a set of functions that do all this and make it at least a little bit as versatile as emacs. I wish to donate to your project
