TBH, I am not sure why these benchmarks regressed. I looked at the generated code for add operator. The generated code is actually a little more efficient. Here is the after vs before:

Most of the 128-bit microbenchmarks have seen improvements due to my PR (#13808, #13807). Very soon they will be intrinsified. I don't think that there is any action needed here.

I agree. The reported regressions are in AOT lane. How did your changes affect the AOT compiler? Is it a shared codebase?
