Visual Studio Version:

16.6.0. preview 5

Summary:

Opening a project in the dotnet/runtime repo caused a gold bar with an error log button.

Steps to Reproduce:

It's really not clear how to get your repo in the same state as mine. Our project/build are heavily customized and I haven't seen this before. It may well be a problem in our repo. I'm logging this based on the assumption that it should be impossible for a project to produce this user-visible error message and in case the log is useful.

@danmosemsft thanks for the report. It was reported in #6204 and #6206, and fixed in #6205. If you're on 16.6p5 then upgrading to the latest 16.7 preview should fix it. Let me know if not.
