Whatever happened to the idea of giving more details about the exact expression or variable that is null in the NullReferenceException message?

I could swear I saw a demo back in the .Net 5-6 timeframe. Was this dropped from the schedule and just forgotten?

See #3858 . Nothing has changed. There's a VS debugger feature about this.
