Vertical-align issue

Hi !

I'm using Elusive like explain in the GitHub but still the icons are not vertically centered with the text and I can't find why... (see the screenshot).
The project is on local so I can't give you an access to the page. But I just use the tag inside

followed by the text, and I added vertical-align:middle on the tag.

When I look at FontAwsome it's perfectly centered but I can't do the same with Elusive font. Am I missing something ? Do you have a website that use it with vertically centered icons ? I looked at http://shoestrap.org/downloads/elusive-icons-webfont/ but they are not centered vertically.
