DSL for log manipulation

base/logger.lisp contains a not-quite-primitive example of the kinds of manipulations one would like to be able to perform on a log: extract information from it, use that information to perform other filters, and so on. This is somewhat cumbersome and repetitive to do in raw Lisp, and it feels likely to me that there is a convenience DSL waiting to be written.
