on countless times I have opened large parquet files by mistake, waiting for the loader to finish just to close the file again
can you guys please implement integration with vscode's confirm window when attempting to open large files

Thanks for opening the issue. I think you should ask VSCode to impose that warning on custom editors (https://code.visualstudio.com/api/extension-guides/custom-editors) which is the API this extension uses.
