Blog: Why we must do certain things to stop Alumni leaving

Alumni, or how we encourage people to DWYL even if that means (temporarily) leaving our team to join another org/co ... 😢 -> ❤️ ✅ 🎉

We'll miss you @jrans ... 😭 (but we're excited for your new challenge in "data science" and our arms/doors are always open if you ever need a place to stay in Ldn/PT or when you want to share insight about your experience and if you ever chose to work with us again as our "Head of Data Science & Machine Learning"!)

We must write a blog post on why it's essential to train people up & give them responsibility & expect them to be "curious" & "spread their wings" at some point ... cause Recruiters gonna recruit.

We need to do what ever it takes to make ours the best workplace and team to work at/on "in the world" ®️ where people feel loved so when the Recruiter calls all our people can confidently say:

"No thank you! I'm sure the "role" is a fantastic opportunity at an exciting venture-backed-startup but it's not for me. DWYL is where I'm happy/loved/fulfilled and I'm excited about solving real human challenges and building the future with people I admire and love learning with/from!"
