append error on 2.24

People are seeing the following class of error message:

"MobyTypeError: append: expects type as 1st argument, given: [object Object],[object Object]"

Kevin Casto and Victor Vu are both seeing this.

My most reasonable explanation right now is browser caching issues where they have an old version of the kernel.js being loaded by the browser. I need to verify this with them before closing this issue.

This is the case for Victor's error.

We need to set up a no-caching for all js scripts served by web-server. I'll do this tomorrow.
