I worked off this example to create a type-ahead input box in a template tag. Is there a way to implement this with bootstrap-toolkit?

Good suggestion. It's not yet part of django-bootstrap-toolkit, but certainly a nice idea.

Note that Bootstrap's typeahead has been deprecated in favour of Twitter Typeahead: twbs/bootstrap#7805

Since Bootstrap is phasing out typeahead, I'm closing this issue for now.
