Anomaly with date for location tracking

There is something strange happening in the data sent from the phone with our custom location tracking setup. For the first time recorded we get something normal like: 20150124T140345-0800. However, for every time recorded after within the same trip, we get something like: 19691231T165737-0800 which indicates that the time was recorded in 1969.
