  • GitLens Version: v3.6.1
  • VSCode Version: 1.12.2
  • OS Version: OSX Sierra 10.12.4

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Have some files open, none of which have changed
  2. Use the "close unchanged files" command - all files should have been closed
  3. Attempt to open a new file (say through the filename search bar)

What will happen is that the file will flash onto the screen but close again in maybe like a 3rd of a second. This behavior persists until VSCode is restarted

I also attempted to close all files manually, and in that case I can still open new files through my VSCode with no problem - so it might be specific to gitlens
