# Mirth Connect

Iridescence Smart Connector depends on Mirth Connect 3.2.1

## Notes

  * Eclipse requires Subclipse

## Build

### Manual build

  1. Checout Mirth connect `svn co https://svn.mirthcorp.com/connect/tags/3.2.1 mirth`
  2. `cd mirth/server`
  3. `export JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS=-Dfile.conding=UTF8 ; ant -f mirth-build.xml`



### Eclipse build

  1. From Eclipse, go to File > New > Other... > SVN > Checkout Projects
  from SVN.
  2. Create a new repository location with "https://svn.mirthcorp.com/connect/"
  3. Select the tags/3.2.1/server directory and click Finish.
  4. Repeat the above steps with the client, command, manager, donkey, and
  webadmin directories under trunk.
  5. You should now have six separate projects in Eclipse named Client,
  Command, Manager, Donkey, WebAdmin, and Server. You will notice that
  several of the projects have build errors. This is because you need to run
  an initial build that will copy artifacts across projects.
  6. Close Eclipse and navigate to your workspace directory (usually in your
  user directory) and locate the Server directory
  7. Edit `mirt-build.properties` and make sure project names are CamelCased,
  otherwise build will fail.
  8. From the command line, run "ant -f mirth-build.xml", or if you are in
  Windows you can run the build.bat file.
  9. When the build completes, refresh and clean the Client, Command, Manager,
  Donkey, WebAdmin, and Server projects.
  10. From Eclipse export the jar files, select Donkey project, Right click->
  Export->Java->JAR File

    Note that if you need the embedded Derby database to be recreated
    because of any changes in the trunk code, you should delete the mirthdb
    directory in appdata.
