When investigating a problem, I found what I was looking for in the statistics table, but then there was no easy way to take the interesting row/column and copy it to my favorite editor (emacs) to note it down for later. The available user-friendly options to copy data seems to be to either export the full table as a CSV and search for the interesting data again, or manually type out the data.
For interesting states or events in the events table I fall back to select and copy the information from the "ITEM PROPERTIES" window, but that window is not populated from the statistics tables.
It would be useful to be able to copy a row or column natively by the trace viewer. Suggestions:
Allow selection of rows/columns and CTRL-C to copy the data. Can a row/column selection be differentiated?
Add an option when right-clicking a column/row
"Copy Row"
"Copy Column"
Populate "ITEM PROPERTIES" with the data from the statistics table where it can be selected and copied.
