Describe the bug

when delpoy che using chectl on minikube , there is a error tip : there are no pods in the namespace: eclipse-che, selector: app.kubernetes.io/name=che,app.kubernetes

Che version

next (development version)

Steps to reproduce

  1. initall minikube, and minikube start ...
  2. chectl --version ---> chectl/0.0.20230102-next.4186ae0 win32-x64 node-v16.13.2
  3. minikube ssh docker pull quay.io/eclipse/che--centos--postgresql-13-centos7:1-71b24684d64da46f960682cc4216222a7e4ed8b1a31dd5a865b3e71afdea20d2
  4. chectl server:deploy -p=minikube --k8spoderrorrechecktimeout=300000 --k8spodwaittimeout=300000 --k8spodreadytimeout=300000
  5. get error like: Timeout: there are no pods in the namespace: eclipse-che, selector: app.kubernetes.io/name=che,app.kubernetes.io/component=postgres. Check Eclipse Che logs for details. Consider increasing error recheck timeout with --k8spoderrorrechecktimeout flag

the che deployed successfully

Hello @davidxwwang thank you for reporting, I'm able to reproduce this error.

@ibuziuk I think this is related to the postgresql operand removal?

@davidxwwang could you please try updating chectl to the latest next version?

chectl update next

The latest next version is:

$ chectl version
chectl/0.0.20230302-next.b35c1bc darwin-x64 node-v16.13.2

Starting from Che 7.62, the postgres database has been removed: #21374
