glsp-vscode-integration example workflow standalone

Hello, is the code in https://github.com/eclipse-glsp/glsp-vscode-integration/tree/master/example/workflow meant to be used standalone? As in can I just use that code alone and execute yarn in extension and webview to get the editor started? I'm trying that and getting errors during yarn execution around the @eclipse-glsp/vscode-integration dependency. It only seems to work if I have the rest of the code e.g. the stuff in packages.
