Why is a launched child Eclipse instance blurry but Eclipse itself is sharp on Ubuntu 24.04?

I'm using a 200% scale display on Ubuntu 24.04 (Wayland). Eclipse 2025-12 is sharp but a launched child Eclipse (target is also 2025-12) is blurry. Why would that be?

Edit - I had Fractional Scaling turned on in Ubuntu's display settings. I turned it off and it fixed the problem. I don't know why it would affect only the child Eclipse and not the main Eclipse IDE.
