Has anyone ever succeeded in subsetting NotoSansCJK series (otf) with fontmin?
I have tried following processes but have never succeeded...

  • plan A
    • step1. once convert otf => ttf by Fontmin.otf2ttf
    • step2. generate subset fonts from the ttf file by Fontmin.glyph
  • plan B
    • step1. once convert otf => woff => ttf by woff converter
    • step2. generate subset fonts from the ttf file by Fontmin.glyph

AFAIK, there is only way to generate subset fonts of NotoSansCJK (jp) is using subset font maker which is a free software in Japan. But, I don't want to use GUI software and I want to generate them dynamically by a program written in Node.js or something...
