Can't build from source in Fedora

Just as subject says, I was trying to build from source for an older machine running Fedora. Kweb and Kweb3 appear to have compiled properly, and all steps from Make appear to have finished, but the app being to launch, then stalls.

I am curious if there are known special calls that depend on the Pi OS and whether it could be ported to run on the i86 / x64 chipsets (would think it wouldn't compile in that case??)
