What feature/behavior/change do you want?

Would be nice if eksctl could support UpgradePolicy attribute passing at cluster creation stage.

Why do you want this feature?

eksctl will now create cluster with EXTENDED support since it's default setup for the API, but it might not be desired state that user want.
