Test Environment Setup

• Creation of InfluxDB OSS Test Environment

Datastream : status

• Add dimension fields
  • TSDB Enablement for InfluxDB #5312
• Adding metric_type mapping - Already available

Verification and validation

• Verification of data in visualisation after enabling TSDB flag in kibana
• Verification of the count of documents (before & after TSDB enablement) in Discover Interface
• Verify if field mapping is correct in the data stream template.

Updating the enhancement as blocked .

Both the datastreams, advstatus and status have a kibana min version as 8.3.0. To run the integration test, it may be needed to change the kibana version to a higher version. Details are attached to the linked issue here.

Influxdb is in beta and hence i do not see any initial challenge in doing so. Pending on approval to do that.

Updated the min version to 8.6.0 as influxdb is not yet available to the customer yet or in beta
