@snide will go through the UI Framework and make sure the color contrast ratio meets WCAG 2.0 standards. As we componentize Kibana's UI, the color contrast throughout the UI will be improved until the entire UI meets the standards.

There are a few parts of our UI which will need to be considered apart from the UI Framework:

  • Visualizations (e.g. SVG-defined UI)
  • SideNav
  • Dashboard panels and panel UI

We'll also need to think about color contrast in Dark Theme, especially wrt to the LocalNav.
