A common use case for the Discover screen is to move back through time starting from the initially-selected timestamp range. At present one must muck about with the timestamp range widget to achieve this objective.

I much better experience would be to enable the user to scroll somehow. A simple and cheap solution is to add left and right arrow heads to jump 25% in the respective directions, maintaining the duration.

Hi @shaunlandau1973,
Thanks for the idea!

Currently, we have two options to move the time window:

  1. Left and Right arrows in Timerange dropdown

  1. "Load" buttons on Surrounding documents page

Hope, this helps!

Closing this because it's not planned to be resolved in the foreseeable future. It will be tracked in our Icebox and will be re-opened if our priorities change. Feel free to re-open if you think it should be melted sooner.

@kertal kertal closed this as not planned Won't fix, can't repro, duplicate, stale Nov 27, 2023
