As the second phase to Tags initiative described in #16484
adding tags to existing import/export capabilities:

  • Import /export objects using the UI - ability to include the object tags in the import/export
  • Import/export API to include the objects tags
  • Ability to import/export a tag with the underlying objects and dependencies, e.g. export security_group tag with all visualizations, dashboards, saved searches, and index patterns.

We've decided to close out this issue and #16484 in favor of a new meta issue focused on the initial implementation of saved object tagging.
