For stateful, we need to distinguish between data streams managed by ILM vs, data streams managed by data stream lifecycle.

For now, we will do the following:

  • Display data retention in the details flyout if managed by data stream lifecycle
  • Display ILM policy in the details flyout if managed by ILM
  • Display both data retetion and ILM policy in the details flyout if managed by both

We will revisit at a later time if we want to more explicitly call out the "management" type. This would also be dependent on API changes on the ES side.
