Timespan manual selection not available in Visualize tab

I can open the time selection when I work on a visualization but I cannot manually select a time range there, like I can in Discover tab. This would be very handy to have.

Can you elaborate here? The timepicker is available in both views. Perhaps you're speaking about the interactive time selection on the chart, aka brushing?
