Unable to try Kibana from master

I wanted to try out the new and improved Kibana, but after a while of loading I don't get a screen to set up the index pattern, instead just a blank page and a console full of errors.

This is from master (74af34c). I had a similar expreience with the tarball beta.

Any suggestions?

It appears you did not run bower install as you don't have any of the build css.

Thanks. I had run bower install, but replacing npm start with grunt dev took care of the CSS errors. However the final IndexPattern errors is still there, and the page is still blank:

Looks like you're running batarang. Unfortunately angular/batarang#182 prevents you from running with batarang enabled.

If you disable batarang you should be good to go.
