Filter by selection on maps

It would be nice to have maps interactive as well, for instance by selecting an area of interest on the map or by considering the bounding box of current view and filtering out all points not in that area. Maybe it might be activated with a checkbox in administration panel.

It is not exactly the same request as #2035. Here it is requested to select an area of interest (like a rectangle) and filter out all points which are not in that area (maybe zooming on it as well), updating all visualizations accordingly.
