Using the embeddable approach Kibana team was able to add Maps to dashboards and to Canvas workpad and add existing visualization to Canvas workpad.

We have several requests to have ML swimlane and anomaly explorer in dashboard/canvas in order to explore data in a single view without moving between applications.
It would be great to explore whether the embeddable approach gets us closer and allow to combine a ML job as part of the dashboard/canvas.

For ML it is also another way to get visibility to ML when users are creating dashboards

Keen to investigate further from ML side too (subject to pending re-actification and platform work).

The first ML embeddable has been added for 7.8 in #64056 with the anomaly swimlane.

Closing this issue as the meta issue #66553 has been raised to cover ongoing enhancements to ML embeddables, including plans for embeddable anomaly charts, over the next few releases.
