Change visualization from dashboard (edit in place) #5066
Comments
via @benberg86 in #5089 As a user migrating from kibana 3 to kibana 4, I find myself spending a lot of time going back and forth between the visualization and dashboard tabs to make minor adjustments to the visualization. I would like to be able to edit visualizations directly from the dashboard tab to reduce time spend switching between the two tabs. Do not have a conclusive list of editable items but a subset of the full visualization editor would be fine. |

+1 for being able to edit the interval in place |

+1 .. crazy that kibana 4/5 still can't set interval in-place while on a dashboard. used this feature extensively for years on kibana 3 |
Are there any plans to implement this in kibana 6? |
I think this would cover your use case: #3578 And yes, it's on our roadmap, currently working on creating a react time picker that is accessible - we are making progress! |
Actually this is probably the better issue to follow: #17776 |
Hi!
I would be great to have interval for date histograms available in dashboards (just like Kibana 3). Sometimes I need to do the analysis for one particular moment and it not very user-friendly to save the visualize each time I need a different interval.
Thanks!
