Fatal Error in IE Browser when doing Multiple Pinned Filters

When doing many pinned filters the following error below is thrown in IE. I'm using IE 10 and it happened after 7-9 pinned filters. If you don't see it continue to add pinned filters and you should see the following error:

This sounds like a url length issue. Hopefully this will be addressed by #6773
