Fatal error while loading embedded kibana dashboard #7639
Comments
Does this happen for all dashboards, or just this particular one? Do you happen to know if the issue exists in newer versions of Kibana? |
It happens for all of my dashboards if I embed them in Liferay portlet. I didn't try this on another version of kibana. |
Does the same thing happen if you embed the iframe outside of the Liferay portlet, in just a plain html file for example? |
I've wrote a simple html page with only and <iframe> tags. The result is the same - fatal error apears for a moment. |
Are you using Internet Explorer? Does the same error occur in other browsers? This may be a known issue: #4919 |
I am using Chrome and Firefox with the same effect. I am not using IE, but I've checked it right now - dashboard is not loading there at all (maybe because of some iframe policy). |
Can you upgrade to at least the latest version of Kibana 4.1 (which is 4.1.11 at the time of this writing)? It's entirely possible this is no longer an issue. |
Closing this since no feedback has been given in over a year. |
Kibana version: 4.1.1
Elastic search version: 1.7.1
Original install method: download page
OS version: Windows 10 64-bit
Browser: Chrome 51.0.2704.103 m
Description of the problem including expected versus actual behavior:
I've embedded kibana dashboard in Liferay iframe portlet. During every page load fatal error appears for a fraction of a second, then dashboard is refreshed automatically and everything loads fine.
