Describe the bug
A certain common, plausible sequence of actions causes a difference in displayed text among different platforms supported with official clients. Element on iOS appears to behave differently than Element Web, Desktop, & on Android. It will reflect different quoted replies to participants, without laboriously inspecting edit histories.
To Reproduce
When
a message A is sent,
a message B quote-replies to message A—showing msg A in block quote—,
and then message A is edited.
Expected behavior
Element iOS should behave the same as element web and android, updating a quoted message in a reply when edited.
