Collapse/expand long message

Sometimes people post messages that are long.
Handy would be to collapse this by default. Show the first 3 lines, with a line and expand link under.
We do this already for long joined/left visitor notes, expand to long messages also.

Is the use case for this when somebody pastes a large message that is not part of the main flow of conversation?

I would have thought that in most cases you'd want to see the full message, though having an option to collapse could be useful on occasion.

Proposal:

• Collapse text of a single message that reaches more than a third (1/3) in mx_RoomView_MessageList [1]. More than a third kills the notion of a chat
• I think is more user friendly to use the words read more and read less. I see the words collapse or expand more technical https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_read_more.asp

Worst case:

a lots of empty lines that could make feel the user has a problem with internet, with their client chat, their system in general, the database of their homeserver, etc.

In my laptop, you scroll 15+ times easily. it is a bad joke.
