Description

Currently SSO login is broken ever since the re-name to "Element".

Steps to reproduce

  • Open Element Client Electron App (I'm testing in macOS)

  • Change homeserver to the one my company, which requires Google SSO login

  • Click Sign In

  • Google asks me to auth and/or choose what account I want to use

  • Chrome confirms I want to execute opening of the callback URL (asks me if its OK to open with Element)

  • Element client electron app just spins and spins but never changes. It also keeps grabbing focus away from the browser.

  • Platform: Desktop (Electron)

  • OS: macOS

  • Version: 1.7.0
