Steps to reproduce

  1. create a matrix user, bind an email address to this account, enable the discovery of this account via this email.
  2. connect on Element-web with another Matrix account. Select the email bound (and shared) to the other matrix user in the Direct Messages input box. Element-web doesn't suggest the actual matrix user. The UI let you create a DM by inviting the email which is sad when an actual user exists.
