Hopefully this is a simple matter of putting the existing threads panel into a tab in the new right panel, so again about a day?

As identified by @t3chguy today, there are changes needed to the design. I believe that @gaelledel updated the designs in figma and in the room we resolved all that's needed here.

Given your questions and work on the matter, I am assigning you, @t3chguy . Please update the content of the issue if you feel it's needed and then close when the work in the room is complete.
