Steps to reproduce

I've discovered a bunch of empty rooms in Element Desktop, all from the same date. I do not remember creating these rooms.

Outcome

What did you expect?

No empty rooms out of nowhere

What happened instead?

6 empty rooms out of nowhere

Operating system

Windows 11

Application version

Element version: 1.11.91 Crypto version: Rust SDK 0.8.0 (21f7cc7), Vodozemac 0.8.1

How did you install the app?

element.io

Homeserver

element.io

Will you send logs?

Yes

To make it worse, I cannot leave the rooms. They stay in my room list

I don't see any hints in the logs at a quick glance. If you're able to provide more details about the rooms, that might help us work out what's going on.

In the past I had this issue, but only when I tried to invite an unavailable username.
From memory, you can only delete the room.
