Well, it's rather simple to reproduce. the only thing that is going to happen is that the file will disappear from its original location without being copied over to the destination. I ran `grep -Rnw' to search for it but it's gone
Steps to Reproduce
1.get a usb or whatever
2. try to drag and drop a file into it when it's still not mounted (eg. there's no "used space" bar under the name of the usb on the sidemenu)
Expected Behavior
I would expect it to either make the operation fail completely, or (what most FMs do nowadays I think) mount the target disk automatically and then copy the file over

Hardware Info
I don't think this has much influence over the files app but..
it's a laptop with an i5-13500H, running the latest i915 drivers shipped by default I guess.

What Happened?
