After some thought I might regret later I decided to scrap Windows altogether and put eOS in my 256GB drive. So the problem was that I was trying to install it to a flash drive. There should be an option for installing it on a flash drive, though as it may be useful for people who need to work with many devices. I tried demo mode and performance isn't bad |

Hi, I've been trying to install eOS 7 on my USB 3.0 flash drive for the past days.
On a Ryzen 7 2700X and a 64GB flash drive
Installation keeps failing with messages like failed to freeze (mq_busy=0) after 20 seconds.
Edit: now getting the following errors instead, it gets past extracting files and setting system configuration though
I really like this OS, want to contribute to it when I have time. It's really the only Linux distro that feels like an OS like Windows or Mac, except it's better and more consistent. No bloat, it doesn't get in your way.
Thanks 🙏
