Tasks disconnects #322
Comments
Hi @AnElementaryUser 👋 Thanks for your detailed bug reports lately! However, please help us keeping things organized by limit yourself to one feature or bug per issue at a time. This makes issues easier to act on. Regarding the two things you mentioned: I think the connection thing is related to #74 and should only affect the icon displayed, but not the underlying functionality. And in terms of notificatioms: The latest release is not yet capable to send any. However, the needed code is already merged and undergoing testings right now. That said, it will find its way to your end with the next update of Tasks - so stay tuned! I will close this issue for now, but feel free to open new ones as ou see fit. Thanks again and keep the issues comin! 👍 |
Hi there! I didn't mean any inconvenience, I am still figuring out how to report bugs.
I thought like this at first but no, the app is indeed disconnected. At least in my case.
Great, thanks! |
What Happened?
Tasks is disconnected from the Nextcloud server and stays like that if I don't login again from Online Accounts. After the app restart, it disconnects again.
Tasks doesn't send alerts/notifications even when the app is open and even though the task I created is local. So this is directly related to Tasks app and not an Online Accounts issue.
Tasks fails to run in the background unlike the Calendar app.
Steps to Reproduce
Expected Behavior
A normal Tasks app that can sync and capable of sending reminders.
OS Version
6.x (Odin)
