On embedded devices with too low flash/ram to install libcrypto (libarchive depends on it) multiarc can be used as wrapper around console tar/gzip/zip/unzip.

To use NetRocks on such devices (it's scp implementation also depends on libssh that depend on libcrypto) same approach can be used: alternative scp implementation working as a wrapper around console ssh and scp apps.
