Not very popular so far, though. But, at least, GNOME, KDE & Microsoft are discussing support of this in their terminals :) And Chrome OS seems to have it implemented already. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/vte/-/issues/2495 (discussed) iTerm2 on MacOS already has this: |

Windows Terminal already supports it. Its support would be a major improvement in user experience under WSL. |
