A vignette border might also be cool to add, like CRT-Royale - that would help to add some "physicality" to the warping.

Hmm, maybe it would be easier to port some other shader which includes vingette border effect. :)

Maybe - it's not that big of a deal, since you can add the vignette manually underneath the shader for roughly the same effect.
