Does zookeeper 3.7.0 currently support? #72
Comments
Sorry, at the moment it's not supported. I will update ZK compatibility as soon as 3.7.0 is possible and let you know. |
Also would be interested in the 3.7.0 support. Is this still in the plans? Anything you'd need help with? Just wondering what the "as soon as it's possible" actually means. :) |
Hi @melw. At the time, the main dependency of this project (Curator framework) hadn't been passing tests for 3.7 IIRC. Shortly after, it was released for ZK 3.7. Sometime between then and now I tried to update the dependencies, but ran into some issues during build and postponed it - mainly because it should still work with ZK 3.7 (in my experience, and others too), I just didn't want to "officially" announce it until the dependencies are updated. However, I haven't forgotten about it and it's still planned :) but first the failing tests need to be fixed. I wish I had more time to do that right now, but I just moved to another country and my free time is scarce. Any help is welcome of course! |
I confirmed that ZooNavigator can manage Zookeeper Server 3.9.2 properly at dbeaver/dbeaver#22777 (comment) and multiple ASF JIRA hive issues. The ZooNavigator README mentions that ZooNavigator only works with Zookeeper 3.4 and 3.5 which seems a bit outdated. |
We use zookeeper 3.7.0 for this, so I want to ask about 3.7.0 support
