minor issue, $HOME doesn't seem interesting enough to show in the location list. i know that at least z filters it.

OK, it makes sense to implement a $le:loc-hidden list for this.

@aeosynth For your original use case, put the following in rc.elv:

le:loc-hidden = [~]
