Pretty weird!

Not at all a minimal repro, but for an example see https://play-endless-web.com/ (buy a ship and press caps lock to enter/exit fast forward mode, notice it continues to work in Chrome but only works the first time in Firefox)

May be platform specific, I can't reproduce in Firefox on Linux.
